Herts music bake off

Hi Chaps

Thinking of having a bake off at mine but more with music in mind than hifi.

Im pretty happy with my system but would like to hear some good music of various genres as i get stuck buying the same old stuff or get disappointed when i dip my toe in the water without knowing what i am buying.

I dont mind if an esoteric CDP turns up though or possibly another set of speakers.

System is Classe CDP-10, Project perspective TT with Project tubebox, Krell KAV 400xi Amp, Dynaudio 1.3 MkII speakers and a fart box which makes a useful stand for a vase filled with lovely flowers.

Dates i am unsure of at present but most Saturdays at 2pm onwardsare good.

I have 2 spare bedrooms and a dungeon if anyone needs to stay over.

There are plentiful curry houses and other take outs in Hemel Hempstead so food is an option later on.

I will supply some beers/soft drinksand some nibbles but please feel free to bring more beer or wine.

Lets throw a few dates about and see where we get.

I'd be interested in hearing you set-up.

If its the 30 Sept I will have to go to arbitration seeing as the Heathrow show is the previous weekend and I might not be allowed out 2 succesive weekends for audiophool tomfoolery.

How does Saturday October 7th or 14th sit with everyone so far?

As i say most saturdays are fine for me

Ahhh ok not the 14th then.

Lets look at September 30th and October 7th for the time being.

Who can make when?

If not we will have to move it to laer on in the month etc
