The file name is JPW AP2.jpg.Hi, I've got these JPW speakers but I have no idea which model they are - does anyone know please?
I thought the dust caps looked too big but wasn't sure if it was a later version. I think the originals were foam so rather than replace the surrounds the drivers may have been replaced. They've got the wrong midbass drivers fitted. It should be these - Vifa M21 WG-09-08
Haha, a bad guess by myself.Strange you don't know as the model is in the photo file name
That would explain why they sound terrible thenThey've got the wrong midbass drivers fitted. It should be these - Vifa M21 WG-09-08
Can you pull one of the woofers out and check the model? That would explain why they sound terrible then

I will have a look in a bitCan you pull one of the woofers out and check the model?
Can you remove the tin cup covering the magnet? Here you go Zero markings on the mid/bass.I've updated the file names btw...
Maybe a closed case, but judging from the rear of the cabinet they seem more likely to be JPW P1 or maybe P2. AP2 is possible to bi-wire but not these. What is intriguing though is the size of the dust cap. On all pictures except yours the dust cap seems narrower. Maybe a change in specification over time.I think I'm just going to eBay them. Thanks for all the replies - you are all stars
I just don't have the time unfortunately - I've listed them now.Definitely the wrong bass/mid drivers. A specialist on JPW is Guy Sergeant of Puresound. http://www.puresound.info/id2.html
He has new production units in stock. Personally I would restore these to their former glory because they're damn good.
