JRiver on Windows 7

I have pc (not laptop) which has Windows 7 installed and with no possibility for it to auto update beyond 7.

I would like to install JRiver Windows (I have purchased previously up to v 28 for a different laptop).
But which version should I download for my Win7 pc?
When I asked JRiver if jr28 would work, I just got a curt reply of “No”.

I only use it for audio - up to hi-rez - from rpi3 digihat into W4S dac.
Any suggestions, please?

According to the JRiver wiki software requirements are 'Windows 7 and newer'. The JRiver home page also quotes a Windows 7 machine for a benchmark result. Checking the installation threads on the JRiver forum, the last one that mentions WIndows 7 is MC26. Maybe try it in demo mode to see if it works before buying? It may work but I am wondering if you would get support from JRiver if there was a problem.

Do you have the serial number for your Windows 7? You can download Windows 10 and install it with a Windows 7 serial number.
