It’s quite simple really. Please follow this formula:

a) I used the included free cables = I believe that cables don’t make a difference 

b) My HiFi didn’t come with cables so I spent no more than £10 on each set = I believe that cables don’t make a difference 

It really is that simple although non-cable believers who did spend more than £10 Will state strongly that the decision was nothing to do with sound quality but it was something else important.
