Why isso muchtop-end hifi so bloody huge and lumpy - I realise that with speakers size might just be everything (bandwidth-wise),but do the electronics, cables etc. Really have to be so bastard big'n'ugly?

And talking of godawfulugly, those ?Wilsons look downright threatening - like some sort of evil alien life form...

The filters are actually tailored to your individual loudspeakers and power-amps. If you change your equipment, they will re-adjust the filters to accommodate the change of amp or loudspeaker. They probably do sound very special, but the justification of the cost is the difficult one to fathom and accept.

The guys says he is the Wilson dealer for Austrailia and NZ and this is his private listening room... hmm do all dealers have such nice listening rooms Tony ?

I've not been to a dealer in the UK with such a passable listening room

Clients only, the nearest I suppose is JJ@ sounds of music, which that was the big room downstairs, very sadly devoid of any music cost about £120K sad but TRUE
