John, many thanks for hosting another successful BO. Had some lovely discussions with some new attendees and heard some great music. Well done that man.

Thanks john for another great day , a very busy one mainly spent in the playroom , listening to brooks superb Spacedeck and Arts , jessies very good ps1 stage and valve pre boy what a superb combo , all power Amps used Radford , Leek , Gamut , sounding more then exceptional , personally the pairing of the Gamut and valve pre was above my expectations , the main rig was flexing its muscles all day with johns nords , Harves krell was a killer amp and drove the Summits without Sweat , many people made for a great day as always , Another big thanks to John for putting me up Saturday night Appreciated .
Ahem...And who, I might ask, entertained you Saturday night, Chris..?

Cheers John... Was my first visit and sure it won't be the last!

Thanks for letting me loose on your system and taking the time out of your socialising to plumb in the krell int (hope it had enough grunt for you👌)

First time I've spent proper time with your system and had fun with a nice bass massage. And left with a few CDs to track down too

Didnt spend too long in the v.busy playroom (think people were hiding from my musical choices 🤣) but some nice sounds and the Arts are beautifully put together and finished. A very luxurious product

And as always it was nice to meet up with friendly wammers and have a chin wag.

Already looking forward to the next one... Maybe I can bring the bigger krell or the Advantage mono's 😶‍🌫️

Thanks for a great day John and thanks for some great advice. At Snoopdog's bakeoff, my Atlas interconnect came in for some stick. Words like hard and harsh were used. A Van den Hul The Surf Hybrid was substituted and sounded much better so I have been quietly on the lookout for some suitable replacements for the Atlas. John told me about his experiences with Chord and which ones he ended up with and when a pair came up for sale the other day I snapped them up. I stopped off near Southampton to buy them on my way to John's. They have been playing here for the last few hours and my gob is duly smacked. So...

Out with Atlas Element Integra. In with Chord Shawline. Wow. Just wow. Who knew?

(and that's with the RME, I haven't tried it with Hugo2 yet)

Thanks John.

Such a shame I had to leave the bake-off so early (well, a shame for me, probably a relief for most!). Unfortunately with the forecast (and present) bad weather and a half-finished timber garage that needed more weatherproofing I needed to make the most of the dry conditions at the weekend, so...

Sounds as though the rest of the day was a blast. Great to catch up with friends old(ish) and new and to hear the Radford doing its "thang" in the playroom - for what looks like an old bit of throwaway tat it makes some very nice noises indeed.

Thanks John for hosting us all yet again, a great (half) day and some more new tunes to put on the "must buy" list too

Thanks John for another enjoyable bake-off. Nice to be able to sit outside with a beer in the sun in the middle of November too!

Thank you everyone for your kind comments, however, it's YOU LOT who make the day what it is, I'm just the resident cat herder & cook.
@harv your more than welcome to bring amps to plug into my rig as its always, interesting to hear what other stuff can achieve. I did look at a Krell 400 a while back but with no chance to audition I dumped the idea, having heard yours Sunday it would have turned out to be a very good blind buy.
For those champing at the bit for a return, the next one will be late January/early February. Though if the attendance figures keep growing as they have this year I will need to get a larger kennel.

Cool I'll look forward to it... probably just bring the mono's next as they should be a straight swap without forcing you into cd only 😇

(And that I can't lift the other krell on my own 🤣)

Well done John and thanks for allowing a horde of Wammers to invade your abode, steal all your chips and fish fingers and then clear off and leave the washing up to you. I know, we are generous to a fault. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Seriously, thanks a lot and the M Logan and Nords worked really well with that Italian Cd front end and a nice TT.

This was just a distraction tactic, seconds later I walked out with John's most prized (and well used) Men Only 1978 Reference Edition.
