I've not heard of half of them, and the ones I have heard of, I like less than 10%.

Re: the rigging claims (Londonist): Iassumed these things were always rigged - otherwise why do such lists always feature so many second-rate, copy-cat, unmaginative and derivative bands?

Have all of 2 of them, another 2 I will buy, but as for the rest - well, all I can say is that much (of the ones I've heard, to be fair) is either bland or totally derivative.

And what the f**k are bloody bedwetters (TM Alan McGee) like Col****y (even my keyboard can't bear to type the name) doing in an NME best of list???

But then again, I'm old...

got to say chaps that list looks as dreadful i assumed it would, so much hype so little talent .. the odd exception of course. NME has always been too cool for school IMHO. bloc party no1 well i,ve got this and don,t think i,ve played more than 3-4 times . hype over content , funnily enough the best track i,ve heard of them is two more years which is,nt even on the damn album...

babyshamble album sounds as bad as the two libertines albums total wank..

Guilty of ownership on 19 counts, biggest disagreement based on what i own is Franz Ferdinand.. No way is that worthy of number three
