Useful should you want to test your hearing between 125 Hz and 8 kHz.

My results were mild hearing loss though this band of frequencies - and I can’t hear above 14 kHz anymore.

Doesn’t surprise me, twenty years of loud electric guitars have had an affect on my hearing.

Perfect, apparently.

That was fun. On my laptop speakers 1k and 2k are inaudible at 20dB, 8k is the loudest. Says more about the speakers I guess, although my last test showed a rising response at 8k.

Interesting test, although I'm not sure how valid my results are sitting in an open-plan office. For starters, my calibration rubbing of hands was a little suspect, but I was reluctant to repeat it too many times!

Anyway, I did okay, generally at the 10db range, with a dip around the 4k mark. I still can't make out quiet conversation in a loud room, though.
