Being an epos fanatic a sale always gets my attention. These things are quite rare to see for sale.
I remember chatting to Mike Creek about epos one time as well and he said for him they were a standout speaker that he loved. He said he took them to one big show somewhere, might have been overseas and anyway they had some hum dinging power amps on them and he said the hotel they exhibited at gave him some noise complaints. He seemed all smug and proud of that little achievement it seemed when he told me.
My passion with always be for the older es, for me they just had that plumby organic sound more as well as that detail. Mike's ones were alright in all fairness I just liked the good old days.
