I have for sale my much loved limited edition Michell Oddessy 2004 only 100 of these were made to celebrate John Michell's involvement in various designs used in the iconic film "2001 A Space Oddessy" When he passed away in 2004. I believe this is right but happy to to be corrected if not. My Oddessy is numbered 004 of 100.
I have owned & used this deck for 15 years so it is not new it was purchased from 'Andrew at Audio Republic in Headingly Leeds' it was ex dem and 2 years old at the time there was no box or paperwork as it got water damaged also I no longer have the black Techno arm it was sold to help pay for the SME-V other than that it is complete. I have all the packing tools and other equipment that comes with the arm minus the original cable as I needed a longer run so that was also sold to buy the "Witchwood Audionics" cable made by Paul (Earl of Sodbury) This is a top quality cable and sounds superb. I have removed excess oil out of the TT and arm damper trough for transporting so will need topping up before use and could probably do with a service belt and general fettle.
Condition wise like I have said is has been used on a regular basis so has some life marks like us all. I have tried to show them in my pictures but not with great success. Overall it is in lovely condition and I would say only a person wanting to buy something new for a second hand price would be disapointed I think.
I would like to sell this complete if possible and will only split it if I get firm buyers for both the Oddessy and SME-V. The TT is collection only wether or not it is complete or not the arm can be posted if required as I have the box. I am happy to meet up a reasonable distance or possible Wam taxi also.
I am looking to get £3,800 in it's complete form and £1,900 for each if I get two buyers and only really open to sensible offers thanks.
