The guy that runs Koenigsegg must be quite cool.

Top Gear... "Sorry, we crashed your £400k car."

Koenigsegg... "No Problem... I'll send you another one in a few weeks"

.

What about Well Spoken Chap and Rick Wakeman? that had me in stitches, especially the funeral march for Les Ferdinand.

who was 'well spoken chap'? or was he just some random nob?

the convertible espace was genius - saw clarksons previous attempts at this but i was nearly crying when they took it up to 100mph and then through worburn 'MONKEEEEYSSS', then setting fire to a car wash was just the icing on the cake.

it's on again tonight at 7pm and will probably be repeated every hour on uktv people / g2 in a few months time.

i'm hoping that there's some reason for the labradoodle otherwise wtf?

cheers

julian.

OK the programme has some minor faults (Clarkson running about a mountain getting stuck in a Land Rover was daft a couple of years ago), but how many Motoring programmes have tears streaming down your eyes ? I think the Top Gear producers have hit a winning formula with the programme. I watched 5th gear last week and there is no comparison.

The Lions at the Safari park getting it on last night was just one of 10 comical moments that were worth watching for alone, even driving about in a Micra convertible (did they really say £15K) with a paper bag and leaving it on the street was funny, here are the points I could not stop laughing about last night.

Pink Micra – paper bag.

The Keyboard segments at the test track.

David Cameron at the test track.

The whole Espace convertible sketch. From Angle grinders to sowing himself to the roof covering, to setting fire to the car wash, and everything in between.

The pooch lying about sleeping in front of the cars.

Well spoken Chaps well at the test track was :

Jimmy Carr - Comedian

Rick Wakeman – Grumpy old man

Justin from Darkness – Leotards etc

Les Ferdinand – ex footballer

Posh bloke is a dude called James May one of the presenters.

Superb as ever :^when Clarkson started the program by stating they had made some changes, I thought oh shit :shocked:but I should not have doubted them.

The Espace sequence was sheer quality; it had me laughing out loud on several occasions :lmao:I don’t think I would fancy testing that thing to 100mph :shocked:ifit crashed, which would not have been unknown given Clarkson was driving, they would have been dead.

no there was another bloke who rolled up in a merc diesel right at the start of the segment, very plummy accent. set a reasonable time of 1.48 or thereabouts. definately not james may.

there was also the bloke from waking the dead who 'did a lionel' (broke the liana by shearing the front wheel off) in a previous series.

when are they going to get a veyron to cane round their track?

cheers

julian

Bluddy hilarious : Clarkson might just be the most irritating person on the planet, but watching him and his chums make dicks of themselves is HUGELY amusing. Hamster in the pink Micra flop-top nearly made me soil my incontipads. Saw what must have been the same car on the back of car transporter this AM... I mean... Surely they only made the1??? :shock:Right?

Dangerously irresponsible taking that fucked-up Espace into a car-wash, mind...
