When I was a young boy the thought how the sound was delivered to my ears was not a number one concern, or even concern in itself. It was the music itself, you either liked it or not. When I first heard 'Paint it Black' by Rolling Stones I was enthralled by the music. I crept into the lodgers room while he was out (a nice hippy who seemed to attract very beautiful quality girls) on the floor was a turntable. So I put on a 45pm single and out came Paint It Black, the music made such an impact on my impressions that it remains my no1 song from Rolling Stones collection. I strongly believe its the music itself which dictates the musicality in the sound and the HIFi gear/systems is just a glorified messenger viaduct...
