Any suggestions for a Dac to partner with a WiiM mini streamer?

That would be the same set of recommendations to partner with any streamer... in most cases the DAC will make a much bigger contribution to sound quality than the streamer. Budget range? Connectivity (optical?) required?
That was the reason I asked in this thread as I understand it there is only a Toslink output from the WiiM, budget up to £400.

While some would disagree, the choice of dac should be influenced by the streamer, based on the price of the latter if nothing else. In this case £400 seems like overkill, a cheaper Topping or similar would probably be fine.

If someone has a better system than that would suit, then they're better off getting a better streamer too.

I have a spare Beresford Bushmaster TC-7530DC 24/192khz DAC which has a pair of Toslink outputs (as well as coax outputs) that I would be willing to part with.

Thank you but I have decided to just carry on using the laptop for streaming with my Dragonfly dac.
