It is what Americans call biscuits...close to what we would call scones. Not proper biscuits IMHO.

You use two salty biscuits to make a bacon burger. 

Try it. Pacemakers are really small and reliable these days.

Concur. Scones or Jaffa cakes don't count.

I've always been partial to a custard cream, although my days off eating a while packet at once are long gone :(

Don't like custard cream, bourbons are ok.

Dark chocolate digestives I like.

Ginger nuts dunked in tea are fine.

Cookies and hobnobs also good.

Shortbread also is ok. 

But I don't eat many biscuits now, prefer cake.

My nan and grandad used to make heavenly anzacs, not had them for years, wonderful biccies.
Used to remember the smell getting home from school when they'd been baking. Wonderful.
