Anyone heard the big TD12's so far. Everything I've read in this thread suggests a fast sound with tight bass. Just my kind of speakers. So curious about this big range topping model :)

There are new ones about to be released. Range “30” . Like Kralk Audio 30-4(the highest model)

I find myself strangely drawn to the TDB 12s.

I'm trying to convince myself that, despite the company's statement that they need a large room and to be played loud, they would be great in my 4m x 3 1/2m room at medium and low volume.

My current speakers are well into the room, well away from walls, so...

With the high sensitivity of the 12s and the current delivery of the Sugden, they should work well..

cant comment on the room size and there isn’t enough feedback from owners to give a variety of results but given Alan’s fair policy of return, it’s something worth thinking about 👍🏻

Thanks. I also see Japanese guys cramming big JBLs, which these remind me of, into tiny spaces.

In this kind of small room I wouldn’t go beyond  tdb-6. You can also wait for smaller models from new “30” range...

I think it depends on what sound you want. Bloated bass isn’t one of mine lol.

A lot will also depend on your room acoustics too.

i thought about the 12s after sending the 8’s back but that’s when I had a Rega amp but decided to blow the budget and go back to the Harbeths and then back to Sugden because it’s a sound I know and like.
