This is the stream I get, via TuneIn radio on my DS.  Is this station you’re after?

I’ve not seen any radio at better than 320kbps

I can (it would appear) play lossless from Radio Paradise by using the RP app on my phone and then stream from that via airplay to the DS. I do get some drop-outs however. Always have when I try airplay, so I don't bother. Maybe others have better luck?

Radio Paradise flac streams are available via the iOS app.

They will stream to an Airplay device (I use an Apple TV at the mo'). you can make your own with a raspberrypi and dac-hat.

There has been talk in the past of a general release to allow the playback in linux, but don't hold your breath.

I think jriver does the flac streams.

One day LInn may catch up up with Squeezebox owners who have been listening to all four flac streams since just after their launch. Hey-ho

This still works in a browser

I have just run it in firefox

AFAIK the RP flac stream works only with their apps, or via the website. I'd use the web player and songcast it rather than airplay.

HI RONNIE..........Thanks for the link. It plays fine through my computer via CHROME. Good link as it shows track information on the page. This is the MAIN MIX stream. Are there similar streams for the other 3 x MIXES they broadcast in the same format ?.................Or, if anyone else has them.

I'm not aware of any.

It's a proof of concept thing. The finished article is in Volumio I believe.

All four are here on the website (a bit too busy for me, but can most likely be adjusted)

There might be another thread on this, but this is the one my search brought me to.

If you log in to the TuneIn app on Android then create a custom url of http://stream.radioparadise.com/flac in the app, it will then appear in your radio favourites in your DS control app. RP in CD quality is rather wonderful.

The minor downside is that, to use the TuneIn app on Android you have to sign up with a regular payment method in Play store. The first payment is not taken for 30 days. So I signed up, installed the app, created the custom url, checked it worked and showed up in the DS control app, then went back to the Play store the next day and cancelled the regular payment. A bit of a faff but well worth it.

For the above I used:

AEDSM with current software

My normal TuneIn user id

An up to date Android phone and Play account

BubbleDS Next CP in Android

Paulssurround's credit card

Is one talking TuneIn Premium? I think that is also available for iOS.

There is a free seven day trial for Premium.

The  TuneIn Pro app didn't play flac when I last tried to add a stream to the  Custom URL box *****

Radio Paradise has been a bit flaky of late :dunno:

*******still doesn't

Here is some url info, courtesy of 'left channel' over on slim devices

For most of us it's best to use these:
Main Mix: http://stream.radioparadise.com/flac
Mellow Mix: http://stream.radioparadise.com/mellow-flac

However if your player doesn't like those, try:
Main Mix, London server: http://icy-4.radioparadise.com/flac
Mellow Mix, London server: http://icy-4.radioparadise.com/mellow-flac
or
Main Mix, London server: http://icy-5.radioparadise.com/flac
Mellow Mix, London server: http://icy-5.radioparadise.com/mellow-flac

Other servers: replace "icy-4"/"icy-5" with "icy-6" or "icy-8" in Texas, or "icy-7" in Virginia, per Bill's reply just received on the RP forum.

One of the many things that will just work using Logitech Media Server as a source (in this case with the LMS RP Plugin)
