Any further thoughts after more listening? I am using a DIY version under similarly large speakers and found subtle but persuasive improvements in all areas.

More air, separation, I haven't had time to put much on tbh and I've moved the speakers into the room a good 6 inches more.

Chucking some stuff on later, even if it stops the mad deaf Tory lady downstairs complaining when I put Michael Bolton on, it's worth it.

Worth £1250? Probably not but they are normally £1450 and they are the latest design with the updated spring pods. I would have preferred the podium stands with the flat rectangle of metal in the middle but these tannoys are an odd shape and size, the footprint of the stands would have been massive - like 66*55cm limiting corner  positioning :)

Really happy with how it sits with the amps.

Hopefully will get some decent hours on it over the next week or so.

I've just got a new digital streaming transport, an Allo USBridge Signature based on a Raspberry Pi compute module. It is powered by a 5 volt USB C socket, and they sell a linear PSU called a 'Shanti', but I'm using an iFi iUSB3.0 Nano to power it.

Before I had a stock Raspberry Pi going into the iFi iUSB via a Chord USB cable, and then a Nordost Heimdall 2 cable into my 2Qute DAC. Now I've got the Nordost is going from the USBridge in the 2Qute. There is surprisingly large improvment for 250 pounds including shipping - a larger stereo image, tighter more dynamic bass and it sounds a bit louder.
