I bought this lamp for my turntable.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DRFRG9Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I specifically didn't want one that was powered by an SMPS!

Far too simple.

I bought the USB one. All I needed was one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ZBLighting-Charger-Socket-Waterproof-Motorcycle/dp/B07DZYH2MF/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=panel+mount+usb+socket&qid=1583616306&sr=8-7

Then all I needed to add was a small aluminium case, a mains transformer, switch, fused IEC socket, low-voltage side inline fuse, wiring, AC/DC converter with voltage regulator and a small LED for the front panel. Why make things simple?

Same old, most recent was the Townshend podiums and the exogal dac.

Oh! And a big rug - who doesn't like a big rug.

Do you have any 15” records?  I thought they were an urban myth until I was shown some recently.
