Never been fortunate enough to find/try an Auditorium SUT but they have quite a reputation. Lovely vinyl setup there.

Same day when I bought Garrard and Denon dl103 I found somebody selling Auditorium 23 SUT so had to jump on it and get it as always wanted to hear one too. I really like how it sounds. Built in phono stage inside Mytek Manhattan dac has MC phono stage with SUTs and it sounds surprisingly good, but A23 SUT is better imho.

Just bought some nice 600w per channel Emotiva xpa hc-1 monoblocks to help take me active. External passive crossover removed, replaced with an electronic crossover :)

Plinus now running 150Hz and above.

So this is where the turntable was at:

Then I removed the SME V and finally installed the Dynavector DV507 Mk II:

The hard part was getting the arm plate made, but the Wam came up trumps by recommending Spider (Tim), who did an absolutely splendid job, firstly with a prototype, and then with the second iteration. An absolute gentleman and a pleasure to talk to.

Yes, it sounds fabulous.

Just got myself a new toy (we'll two in one really).

Nice early serial number on the 401 (# 1205) & the 3009 is a series 2. Even came with a cart (Pickering V15 AME2) + 2 spare STYLI, and a Garrard SPG3

wOw amazing looking system that! Which model of Maggie's are these? Many years ago I owned a pair of 0.6's bought new from Cloney Audio, Dublin. Hard to beat the expansive sound of panels....!!

Wonderful system there - wOw

Thanks.

These are the ex flagship 20.1 series

They are constructed by sandwiching together x2 3.7 mid + Bass panels with a push-pull arrangement, which allows them to play flat down to 23hz :)

When people say Magnepans aren't dynamic or that they lack bass they clearly haven't heard these puppies ;)

New cartridge for - Audio Technica OC9XSL.

Played one LP so far and sounding excellent straight out of the box. I like the threaded holes, no nuts required. It also means that the stylus guard fits on nicely when not using the system.

The cantilever makes the already svelte one on my previous AT33PTG/ii seem positively chubby.
