^ Very nice - but try it with just a single belt. That worked best with a standard Gyro.

New deck turned up just in time for Christmas, all 57 Kilo's of it  Really happy with how it sits with the amps. Hopefully will get some decent hours on it over the next week or so.

As a rejuvenated super wammer (never cancelled my fees 💪), I should share my main system again as suggested by Jake 😅

Finally set up my new speakers after the decorating . Kudos X2

The unit keeps getting better as I improve caps and valves. I think all caps and valves are around 50% of the cost. It is one outstanding sounding unit I have say.

New toy arrived today, bagged it ex-demo half price . Really enjoying the sound so far as a DAC, haven't tried the headphone amp yet. Nice warm and smooth sonic signature, which is what I was looking for.

Orb Jade 2 USB DAC/Headphone Amplifier

"Unlike many DAC manufacturers, ORB have taken a different path by not using the same old DAC chip seen in other DACs, instead they are relying on a Japanese made DAC chip from Asahi Kasei, and this chip can handle data rates up to 24bit/192kHz."

PrimaLuna Prologue 5 (been around for well over a year now) fitted with a quad of GE USA 6L6 and TAD input tubes.

All sounding rather good. :)

My hifi purchasing over the last 5 years had pretty much ground to a halt, only being interrupted by the addition of a Bluesound Node 2i (which I'm delighted with). A few weeks ago, I picked up a Chord Mojo for a good price and am reet chuffed with this tiny packet of tricks...

Mojo

The first DAC in my rig that has made an improvement (albeit a small one) over the old Teac UD-H01 which has been a wonderful bit of kit that even saw off a certain Italian device costing 7 times what I paid for the Teac.

Time to dust off some of my vintage amplifiers and sort out what I’m keeping for the vintage mancave

First out of the box .. to be checked out to see if any thing needs replacing internally

This Sony is in lovely condition..

Gone mad and got some Cabasse Baltic II and the sub, the sub I am not using at the moment as I have a Velodyne DD15. Happy with the Cabasse sound. The looks are an acquired taste, being two eyeballs on sticks.

Also got a Sony CD spinner for the bedroom system in the shape of a SCD-777 ES, very happy with it. Ms ICHM could not handle the Micromega Duo Pro.

Soon to be on their way to me from Guildford.

I love my Primaluna Prologue 5 power amp, so two Prologue 7 monoblocks have to be twice as good, right?
