I have an early 90s Air King, which I find so much more attractive than the present model. I find its case too big. I don't like the yellow crown or the detailing on the hands, and I particularly don't like the 3, 6 and 9 (or the 6 and two 9s in this case).

The old Air King is a discrete watch, the new one is gaudy.

Even worse, both those watches were a second out to each other! :o

I can't believe that someone has managed to make a video lasting 7 minutes on a single typo'!

What a waste of his/her time and ours.

I can't believe people pay £xK for a Rolex(where x is a large number). I have an Avia  watch bought for a poorly fish back in 1999. It has had 2 batteries since then and keep perfect time, and it looks good too...

Of course the money I saved by NOT purchasing a Rolex went on HI Fi seperates, ..........

When I was in my late teens I told my mom, “Why do people want to spend so much on a Rolex?”. All she said was, “You will want to one day.”

Well ... 10-12 years later I did have a good look at getting one but did not take the plunge. I’m just too rough it’s watches. But she was right. 😬

They are a luxury item that appreciates in value if you know which one to buy. My Omega was like £800 when I got it in 2001. Today the same model retails at about £2,500.
