Lurches Southcoast Pre Keggy Bake-off, SUNDAY February 9TH, PO19

Recommended Posts

Also John you might pencil in Vernon (Coltrane 23) whose system I have had the pleasure of listening to.  When i was up there in mid Hampshire he expressed an interest in coming to the next one of these - especially when I said what a lovely bunch of lads and lassies we were...:)

I have got home safe, along with your mono’s and pre, Jack, thanks again for the loan. It was a good day as usual at Johns, and like Jack spent most my time in the play room, partly because there

As long as you do so un-buttered/jammed/toasted whilst sat on your patio in a mankini you are forgiven Steve.

A pic of my home system with Jacks mono’s in place, note the kids table for the tecnodec  Sounding great and all ready for Kegworth  Jessica.xx

Jack, not sure we need The Kinshaw as we have Jessica's PS, which as you know will take some beating.

John

When you were over at mine, do I recall you saying that you wouldn't mind hearing my Whest PS.30RDT 'SE' phono stage with your tt/arm/cartridge?

If so, I can bring that along so you can have a listen!

I thought one of the purposes of bake offs was to compare and contrast different bits of kit. I'm fully prepared for Jessica's phono stage to beat the Kinshaw (hence my jest) but both Jessica and I would be quite interested in how easily it beat it.

Will have to be Subs bench for the moment, and see what happens nearer the time.
