Lost Home Movies of Nazi Germany.

Recommended Posts

Two part Doc based on lots of real footage which I picked up on Catch up TV.

Very informative, fascinating and harrowing at times.  The eastern front stuff covers misery on a huge scale.

A must for anybody interested in WW2 history.  Lots of stuff I didn't know.

It made me look up more on the Eastern Front.  The scale of the casualties, military and civilian, are hard to comprehend.

For obvious reasons there's a lot of WWII docs on at the moment. I've been watching this morning a programme about folk in the Caribbean who came over to fight the Germans. Lot of heart-warming stories.

I always made a point of learning about more recent history when at school. Egged on by my father it's something I've never looked back with any regret.
