Hi @kikuchi

I used the info posted here
https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/denafrips-product-owners-please-fall-in.30981/page-9#post-670393

I used the Linkup Cat 8 cable, the wiring is easy to change without tools. Instructions here:

Any problems, let me know. If you make a mistake, you just get no sound, or possibly sound with L/R channels reversed.

It's best to keep the cable as short as possible, but I used 1m and it was still ok.

Hey guys. I've just joined the Aqua owners club after buying a La Voce DAC from a fellow wammer. I was using a Naim DAC V1 and wanted something less clinical and more analogue sounding. Set it all up last night and it sounds amazing, even with standard CD resolution from Qobuz.

Does anyone have an experiences they can share re power cords that suit Aqua's? I've used the Aqua supplied one for now, which at least seems better than a standard kettle lead.

Selecting a power cord is very system-dependant, not just a component-dependant.

I also switched to La Voce from DAC V1 and also listen to Qobuz music a lot.

Tried several reasonably priced cables including the aforementioned Mark Grant (very well made and cheap, but that's unfortunately all I can say about it),  the best I found was Cardas Gold power cables for both the DAC and the source. Both cables go into Isol-8 LC power station. And the Isol-8 is connected to the mains with a Neotech NEP-3002 cable.

I have used Cardas Golden Cross interconnect as well for a while, the presence and musical regions sounded really nice, extremely detailed and rich, but freq. extremes were a bit rolled off and lacked some bite. Switched to Zu Audio Varial and now it is more immediate and perfectly balanced as far as I can hear.

YMMV depending on what you are trying to achieve. I have never tried the obvious upmarket suspects like Kubala Sosna or Shunyata since I am a scrooge.
