Definitive Tech Demand D7 best buy of the year ?

Recommended Posts

Look at that price, it's incredible low, the top of the line model cost £4000 with the same tweeter, can you even get 2 tweeters for under £200?

Might be the best buy speaker atm and this year, do your self a favour and get a pair while you can, retail price is over £500 at AV online (currently for sale at £449 for a pair)

A bargain indeed, assuming the pedigree is still on show in this smallest model.  Good spot!

Currys had them at this price a couple of months ago. Then they put them up to£189. Obviously no takers, so back down. Still tempting, even though I've just bought new standmounts

I bought these speakers. They lasted a week and I sold them on because I couldn't live with the boosted bass and treble (and consequently, the absence of any meaningful midrange). I am sure they are discounted for a reason..

LoL no boost highs and the bass is just deep, not as boosted as some floorstand speakers, you need studio monitors or wharfedale diamond 220/225

In this video already posted theres no bosted bass, highs at all

With all due respect to the Melody, it is not going to get the best out of an Opticon 6.
