Got it!

Well used to banter, no worries there.

So I have just bought my first Linn, a second hand Basik with the Akito tonearm, which has sticky vertical bearings, which I cleaned with contact cleaner and soon started moving as intended. I am guessing this is an early Akito, but it's all set up fine now. It came with an AT95e which is ok, but I could do with some ideas for a replacement at some point.

I am using a really old NAD which is still going strong, albeit after some repairs carried out by myself a few years back. (Cracked dry solder joints and a new cap).

Speakers are Q Acoustic floor standing, which  I replaced my old Bose (very deceased) with.

The Linn is in fair condition, although I have ordered some black oil, so I can carry out a minor service. The tonearm lifter is also dried up, so correct silicon grease is also on it's way.

Anything else I need to look out for?

No. Go back out, turn right, and it’s the fourth door on the left.

I thought that was the argument room?

I don’t think he paid for either a 5 minute argument or a half hour?  😂
