Woolly hat - Upgrade

Recommended Posts

Super Wammer

Hi...I would like to offer all members the opportunity of trying this free sonically proven upgrade.

The upgrade should be performed while sitting in your favourite listening chair and playing music at your desired volume.

1. Place woolly hat on head.  2. Roll the sides until they sit on top of the ear.  3. Gently push material above the ear downwards until ear lobe flairs out a little.  4. Adjust to taste.

The upgrade will improve clarity...sound stage. ..and could even save you thousands of pounds on cable/isolation purchases ?

Don't delay as this could be the most significant sonic change to your system...,and it's free !   (Please don't be afraid to try this and smile wryly to yourself of hifi's best kept secret).   Doubters simply need not try.

Keep safe...keep it real...😁😃😀😅......onwards !

Don't worry just charge each person who wants to try this and donate it to the NHS :^

o

Or you could start selling woolly hats :)

Moved to 2-channel. Though it could have gone in the 'joke of the day' thread of course :D

Benny was always a dark horse...ask Miss Diane ?

This upgrade definitely works. If you are cold and aging like me with dwindling hearing.. your onto a winner. 😀

You're preaching to the converted.

I've been doing this for a while, without the hat, just bending my outer ears forward.

Don't knock it till you've tried it. I reckon people with those 'FA cup' style ears are quite lucky.

Yes, it works - well, it certainly changes the sound; clarity improved, better 3D image.

Just fold your ears a liitle way forward with your fingers to try the idea, no woolly hat needed! :^

edit - oops, overlapped with Mr Gray. :)

Indeed it is true Gray+JandL.  I just thought I would lighten things up with a fact ..that most people won't take seriously anyway 😊

Hifi is a strange world with a myriad of different opinions within it. Maybe if we designed a tweaked Alice band (with branding) and charged £20 for it ?

Regards.

Speaking of hats, would a large sombrero reduce the first reflections from the ceiling?

Much prefer the aussie  hat with dangly corks ……...and a glass of wine too.

The sombrero doesn't work at all.  It's like listening to the carpet ?

Will try the Foreign legion hat (with flaps down) and hopefully it will stop the second reflections from my kitchen cupboards.   You never know do you ?
