Oh so tempting but I fear I would be sliding into classic speaker collecting if I do. Stone cold mint and lovely looking speakers

They make my newly painted gloss black ones look so shabby.

Here you go. I am not disappointed with how they look really but those on eBay do look very lush.

Love the colour but then he describes them as Rosewood :dunno:

These are Rosewood

Anyway I already got a set of rosewood AE's in my collection Baz. Granted they aren't real wood veneer but VFM,,, no comparison!

AE120's?

I've got the AE109s in the loft currently, same colour. Owned them since new back in the late 90s (very first speakers I ever bought with an Arcam Alpha 7 amp and 7SE CDP); won't sell them either, they still sound superb :)

They clash with all my new oak office furniture though; hence why I bought light oak Fyne Audio F302s...

Just a shame the seller of the AE2s is insisting on collection only; seeings as we're still locked down, how can anyone justify travelling to collect them O.o

Yes 120s the bigger brother to the 109s. Owned many 109s, great speakers, the 120 are very similar just offer more weight and scale.

Yup; they certainly do. Unfortunately a bit too big for the room I had back in the 90s; even the 109s can be a bit too much in our spare room, which is 1/2 as big again as my office.

I do every so often look on the Bay for some 120s, but everytime I see them they're dog examples; rough cabinets and driver foams fallen apart etc. Mine are still supple and faultless (I do treat them with a bit of leather conditioner every so often, hasn't done any harm)

Those look good Chris, may be not be quite as much a head turner as the walnut tho

Very similar veneer to my ebony BBC monitors.
