Great system Jonathan - I love your sideboard as well!

Thanks Marko, it’s G Plan 1960 Scandinavian which was my parents. I had already separated from my Ex and when they both passed away, I took it. When I can eventually move from this rented house, it’s going to be re done and will be a nice piece in hopefully my new property with my new Mrs. Brexit, Covid, health have all got in the way. Both our own properties would have sold in normal circumstances.

He has asked me if I’m ok to play Val Doonican.. bring it on lol
If he was my neighbour I'd be steering him towards a nice 300B SE amp and some Dynaudios. Or maybe Martin Logans

I think this was all a Baldrick cunning plan to get playing your music loud.

He will either be unwilling to complain, due to the help you've given him; or he won't hear yours, as his will be up loud.

Top Wamming, with a cunning edge!

I know it’s not Christmas but it was O Holy Night 😊

Ah, right.

Very nice, if a bit soppy. :D

So that'll be a double bass, then, not a cello. ;)

He plays both. I’m not sure but I think the recording was in a cathedral.

I’ll need to work on the other side now then lol. The other neighbour is a techno and says I’m living in the past with my kit but refuses to have a listen, funny that 💭
im quite lucky to have reasonable neighbours. Ideally I’d like non so I can really crank it up lol

Will you be taking up Bowls next (Tiddlywinks in lockdown, though)?

I'll have you know that playing bowls while tripping is awesome!  All the little bumps and dips in the green become visible, and can be used to great effect.  So next time you watch the oldies play, just think on... B|

Tripping on the bumps and dips, as your shoelaces have come undone, more like. :TheBird:

Well I’ve had the calling back to work so it looks like Sunday before I can hook up some of the kit. Good things come to those that wait. 😊

In a similar note, I've been helping my aging neighbour with shopping and prescriptions etc during lockdown, and she mentioned she had some old speakers in her garage that used to be her husband's, that I could have if I wanted them.

So I've now acquired a pair of original wharfedale diamonds!
