I also use this model and am very happy with it, I have not had such problems. Perhaps the problem is in your device and you need to contact the service center. My kitchen is extremely diverse and it has not only this system, but even a smart oven that helps me prepare delicious Turkey or pumpkin pie. I am also the owner https://www.thewindupspace.com/best-grill-for-apartment-balcony/ and this is my best purchase in the last year. Perhaps you are interested in learning more about this? I would not recommend putting any hifi kit, other than the speakers, in the kitchen - it is amazing how the grease and grime from cooking gets into electrical stuff ..

persactly. I had a perfectly good ghetto blaster in the kitchen that ended up greasy, tacky, and unable to do anything except radio :(

IMO if you MUST have HiFi in the kitchen, get what runs cool enough to be kept in a closed cupboard

So true...if it's a kitchen where people actually cook and not re heat food! Forget anything decent in there...trying to get sticky greasy muck off my old pure radio is a thankless task..and I keep my kitchen pretty spotless...and use the extractor fan...some old Sony or Goodman's micro thing should be ok..anything decent will get knackered in my opinion..
