WTB, MM only phono stage.

Looks like my PS3 needs a bit more loving care in the repair shop, so I’m on the lookout for a decent phono as an interim or maybe a longer term replacement, that is depending on what’s offered.

So a Rothwell Simplex would certainly fit the bill at the lower end, but I’ll consider more exotic phono-stages up to a maximum of 1k.

Must be in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Prefer black but would look at other finishes.

Im based in Rotherby, Leicestershire.

Just in the thought process of whether to replace the PS3 or just to get an interim replacement!

Think David, not knowing much about clones, that might be a step to far!

However that reminds me about your bearing mod that we need to book in!

Get a Schiit Mani.  About £120 new, and kicks the ass of anything five times the price.

Super Wammer

Hi Nic, slightly over your top end budget but the Tron Seven that Lurch is selling is a superb MM stage, it really is, I doubt you would ever need to upgrade it. I know John has gone up the Tron chain to an Ultimate, but to be honest there isn't a massive jump in quality.

I see, so you had to pay postage, tax and fees?

Their UK site is always out of stock.
