Good value for money handmade speakers, would you agree?

Recommended Posts

These seem good value. There seems to be considerable effort gone into making them and the overall design. I think the asking price is reasonable for someone.

They have good drive units as well

DIY speakers dont usually get much love though unless they are of something and the price may reflect this here, but could be a good deal for someone.

I agree, they look very good value for money and the finish is excellent. To my eyes, they are obviously not made by an odd-jobber but someone with significant skills.

Yes these are not your average odd jobber as you say.

Definitely a bit of a Sonus Faber design and look about them.

Well thought out with the stands as well, I bet they perform well as well with everything considered.

Speakon connector, hmmm, that would need changing.

Sadly, home brew speakers are worth about half the cost of the units. If you didn't like them, quite difficult to sell.

I would ask the seller what amp they are using, would give you a clue to the sound.

Interesting not only for the beautiful design, but the luxury room decor makes me infer somebody’s got good taste. I’d have loved to hear them, and would like to know why they were selling too.

Sale over, but not clear to me if they actually achieved £600

Can't put my finger on it, but something looks odd to me.

The build quality looks better than many commercial products, but the pictures also seem like professional studio work. It was 'collection only', so I can only conclude the seller is not only bloody good at woodwork, but also at photography.

Surely not the seller’s name, triode300?  Reassuring, I’d have thought!

Well the design has to be commended if nothing else and he has used top spec drivers.

The response was a grammatically phrased question for Mark. As in, did he buy them :D
