An outstanding condition Garrard 401, set in an Acoustand polished/ rosewood plinth with Jelco 850L tonearm.

All in excellent condition order, the only small fault that I can find on the 401 are the marks to the on/off switch, easily sorted with a new cover. I believe the previous owner picked this 401 up as NOS.

Acoustand(I believe is currently sold out), polished black  and special order rosewood plinth, again in excellent order, I have routered one arm board to fit the Jelco, leaving a hole, there is s spirit level that I was going to set into this.

Jelco 850L tonearm again in top order, very lightly used, boxed with accessories.

The cartridge or phono-cable are not included.

Would trade / part ex against a quality phono stage.

Will split but only if there is interest in all the parts. £1500 SOLD.

401 £625, Acoustand £275. JELCO 850L  ALL SOLD.

any questions fire away, Pick up from Rotherby in sunny Leicestershire.

Had one for about 15 years, Loricraft serviced it for me and thought it was superb. I would say I regretted selling it but the person who it went to was very ill at the time and had always wanted one. He mailed me several times to say how delighted he was. Happy it made his day. Great turntable and super plinth. Wish I had the room but sadly don’t.

Bit like buses these 401’s👍

Had a couple of enquiries about splitting, so yes will do, also been asked about the packaging and what’s included with the Jelco, so here’s a couple of pics. The Jelco comes with the upgraded Ammonite collar and the original.

Super Wammer

It would be a crying shame to split up such a wonderful combination, and a downright steal at the price, I'd say. Truly gorgeous. GLWS, wish I had room for another deck!

These plinths are incredibly well made and really are a work of art. It will look even better in the flesh.
