Yeah, I knew that; it's partly why I posted it.  You got me on to more of him than Koln Concert with a post about the "The Journey Home" a couple years back.

Awful!  If you are looking for a musician of integrity and honesty, no one comes near to him.  His London and Paris concerts are heartbreaking.   He proves there is more to music then technique.

I remember. I have a great many recordings of his, and many with him and Jan Garbarek. A great number of them I think belong in the category of 'hauntingly beautiful'.
