I can't be the only one?

Anyway i run a rossini player/dac/streamer, with the extra clock.

This sits on top off my fraim rack, both the rossini and clock have isoacoustic feet under them, to further help with isolation, upgraded the clock cables and use my own made mains cables.

This feeds into my naim 552dr, then to my 500dr, finally to some PMC fact 12 speakers, witchhat morgana cables used, through out, including the phantom speaker cable.

Also have a rega P10 and aura phono stage. Plus a melco N1zs/2.

System is by far the best its ever been, simply love the quality of streaming-audio this can produce, the dac in the rossini, has a lovely detail without sounding digital, massive wide and 3d sound, i simply love it and feel its about as good as i am ever going to get it.

So come on you DCS owners, lets hear from you.

Cheers dunc

Hello, lonely @DexterPi!

Watch this space... I've been enjoying my dCS RingDAC based Arcam CD players for decades and, subject to all sorts of sensible caveats, am about to become the second member of the Wam dCS Owners Club.

Incoming soon are Verdi La Scala transport and Elgar Plus DAC. Wammers do enjoy a bit of hifi porn so here goes:

PS @DexterPi. Do change the title from DCS to dCS... it's an OCD thing. :)

Happy to oblige! I do have a dCS Bridge and it is the best streamer I have heard by some margin. As soon as I heard it the Auralic Aries was put up for sale.

Thank you sir!

I loved my Metrum but it dawned on me that for around the price of my beloved Arcam CD23T (with its integral dCS RingDAC) and Metrum Pavane Level 3 I could get a dCS Verdi CD/SACD Transport and an Elgar DAC.

I happen to have acquired an upscaling Verdi La Scala (clever naming, that) and an Elgar Plus. I've never heard them of course so they've been bought blind (or deaf, if you like)  but given that I've not heard anything to beat the CD23T in 20+ years, I think it's as safe a blind purchase as one can make. Oh, and although I know it's a long time ago, original RRP's of £21,000 for the pair do make me smile at what being patient can do for one's wallet.

I shall report back on whether I am sonically delighted or disappointed!

I heard a 4 Box Scarlatti back in 2011....which IIRC cost £45k. Very impressive.

It was paired with £29k of VTL amps and £31k Focal Utopia Maestro

Good. Just because a good player is slightly old does not make it poor. It is still good and maybe you have to go  a long way to get something better. dCS support their products well. I went around the factory as they installed their listening room. Wow seeing all their products, their support, measurement suites everywhere and through listening they were making changes. I think the Bartok shows what they have done.
