...and it has a bypass button - so you can spend $25k then isolate it from your system

I could offer a cheaper personalised service for $20k and just as effective ....send me the dosh instead and I’ll make sure the device won’t have any negative effect on your system

Without the $80,000 power amp and $30,000 pre, you'll never get the full benefit.

OMG, I missed that. Maybe the strategy is that you price like this, get lots of attention (inc. incredulity and outrage), and then offer massive “discounts” on ex-dem, or for new year sales, or some other reason... so folk snap them up “a massive saving on RRP”.

Anyway, I want to know who their customers are. My yet to be designed Robbie Nudd range of audiophile accessories might include a Money Power Redistribution Block.

I think somewhere they say it’s the truth, a fact, that you simply will not find anything better. I guess that’s a more sales-y way of saying their kit sounds the same as everyone else’s.

I can learn a lot from these guys!

So my JVC Spectrum Analysing SEA’s Equaliser in the loft isn’t as good? 😊

The Cello Palette (Mark Levinson) did the same sort of thing but probably better 30 years ago for £6k.

It’s NOT a graphic equaliser. It’s a universal tone control.
That’s completely different. What is it with you people? 😊

We had one of these Klerk Teknik DN-3600 programmable units at Goodmans - brilliant bit of kit.

Isn't it true that anyone using DSP is effectively using a massive graphic equaliser...just not one with loads of sliders/ dials?

Yup, absoluto correcto.

Except DSP is digital and the sliders are virtual and the settings are worked out by someone else's algorithm.

So that's OK, then. :^

And it probably doesn't cost 25k xD

I'm about to buy an Intel NUC to use as a Room core with my Innuous, so I'll be spending time with virtually dials myself! Keen to try Roon room correction.
