Hi all, For sale are my Yamaha NS1000M speakers. This is a ‘Proper pair’ that have stayed together since they left the factory. I bought these as a stop gap, about 10 months ago. After listening to

They look like a pair of 1980s boom box speakers that have been on steroids ever since! Would be good in someone's man cave  GLWS

They would wipe the floor with many a modern day speaker too.Tremendously refined and much classier than to be left languishing in a man cave! Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Now 1.1k views, sort after speakers, maybe no one wants to pay your price or they are out of flavour at the moment. Anyway have a bump.

I've not even had an offer

There is not another pair as cheap as this in the UK.

The tweeters and Mids are worth the asking price alone.

They are a bargain.

It's always tricky selling speakers.

I've another pair of speakers for sale that are advertised elsewhere. I have been begged by a guy in France to crate them and send them, a guy in India breaking his neck for them and now a guy in Germany talking of "having a drive" to fetch them, yet I can't give them away in the UK.

Everything sells eventually, but I'm not giving either of them away.

If they don't sell, they can stay here in my store room.

These are excellent sounding speakers. I hate to think how much they would cost today if they were in production. Titanium drivers are VERY expensive. just look at Focal speakers.

I had a pair of these Yams after selling my first pair of Quad ESL63's due to lack of volume and frustration at them going into protection mode with very dynamic recordings. I enjoyed the NS100m's a lot but missed the electrostatics and after some research, found the solution of ESL63's with matching Gradient woofers, run by 2 amps.

If I were using coned speakers again though, these would definitely be on my list. Being sealed cabinets, the bass is superb, as are the remaining frequencies.
