Hi, wondering to replace my oak plinth with a piano black plint to match me Akubariks which also is Piano black. My current oak plinth will be used in a secondary system.

Do anyone have experience with these painted plinths? Is the sound the same as wooden ones?

I know Simon at Grammo will  make your oak plinth piano black

It has been my experience that there is no sonic difference between the painted vs. standard wood finish plinths as supplied by Linn.

I have a Linn one too. Looks fantastic and no difference to my previous maple one. Needed new top plate to not show it up though.

I do like my fluted walnut plinth, however... that looks really classy!

Thanks for pictures. Ordered this week, including a new platter which is a bit lighter than the older ones and have a better fit to Karousel inner platter than one of my platters.
