Nord one Up SE mono blocks rev C input buffers with Sonic Imagery op amps

These are in mint condition, come with the orginal box.  Double boxed for shipping but i would prefer collection or meet up.

The photos make it look as if power dimmer switch is loose, it is not it is mounted as it should be and flush with the case

I have had these in my main system since 2018, they are brilliant.  Power, drive transparency in a small case and low electric draw.  Can't ask for more than this.  Moving to to of the range Neurochrome at double the price

I am close to Motorway M1 J28 North Nottinghamshire

£1195 + £60PP or collection/meet up

The link and spec above is for the entry level model with opa op amps.  Mine are the one up se rev c spec, with the most expensive si op amps, japanese case, etc, etc the technical spec is closer to the version 2 rev d models that cost way way more.  For example the input impedance is 51k not 47k as above.

As far as i can tell the only difference between the latest mk2 rev d models and mine is the input board.  The rev c board uses dual op amps per channel stacked one on top of the other whilst the rev d uses two single op amps side by side.  Rev c units can be upgraded in stages to full rev d spec.

Step one is to buy new input boards and use the op amps out of the old rev c boards

Step 2 is to buy 4 new op amps

Step 3 is to sell the old op amps and input boards. A pair sold on the bay for £220 recently

I looked into this options myself but the more i researched the idea the more i doubted the value of the upgrade.  Google brings up loads of very positive reviews on the upgrades but digging deeper i found numerous reports of minimal changes to the sound.

Remember my amps have several optional upgrades which add to the base cost and nord prices exclude vat and shipping.

If you are thinking of buying new rev d buying these and selling the rev c boards on gives a very useful saving
