Is this how low a legendary magazine can go? The Crowley and the Victoria are the same deck! Handy to be able to wreck the terrible stylus with your 78’shttps://www.rollingstone.com/product-recommendations/electronics/best-turntables-under-100-1210589/amp/

It’s a surprise that the magazine features such cheap turntables as many (young) people spend more on headphones. John Lewis also sells cheap rubbish turntables and yet sell more expensive other electrical goods. It’s as though the manufacturers or distributors are deliberately shutting them out unless they don’t have a clue.

tbh, I'm not surprised. The magazine is written by people who question why anyone should pay for music when you can download it for nothing, and who are used to buying USB sticks for less than the price of 2 pints, for other people who think the same way. We should expect them to know nothing about real HiFi, and to be passing this ignorance on to their readers.

Oh dear, the article is even more London than what ole' Klassik was expecting!  :o

From the article:

Quote

A 3.5mm headphone jack lets you connect your stereo system, CD player or your over-ears to listen to vinyl.

¿Qué?  :S
