Yes, knowing the rate of weeping and flickering would be interesting and revealing.

Super Wammer

I don't know about the all the numbers and technical specs being quoted - but I'm still loving what my Radikal 2 is doing for my ears and the enjoyment that quickly follows on ......... 👍

Probably just someone in marketing who thought a long number would impress…

Oui, connI like my pl12 Radikal.
No problem for me, there is no criticism, simply, the "Wow and Flutter" would be interesting; knowledge is not taboo. Linn indicates well the speed 33.3333333 RPM.

I think the mathematical notation is 33.3.

Not strictly, if memory serves. That means .3 recurring (ad infinitum), rather than to ‘just’ seven decimal places. I know that’s nit picking at those small intervals, but not even Linn can claim to be accurate to that level, never mind measure it.

I assumed Linn just didn't want to cut down more trees than necessary by writing out 33.3333333333333333333333333 ad infinitum!

😉

So is Radikal 2 a 'revolutionary' change?

Out of curiosity, how "accurate" and "stable" is the speed of a typical disc cutting lathe?.

And, equally, if not more, important - how accurate is the centering of the spindle hole (leading to audible "wow" - far worse that a miniscule deviation from 33.3. rpm)?
