Hi Colin, actually it’s the 40th anniversary edition. I don’t play the original and it’s been sealed again, don’t ask me why lol.

When the album came out, I was 9 but spent a lot of summers in Hexham with my cousins and it was constantly played by my uncle and it was in my memories and I kept singing the songs until the Christmas of 73 my folks got it for me. An early age you say? It also got me into Alan Parsons too. Other kids were still listening to Chart come and goes but I had a reasonable collection of vinyl by 15. An alba music centre was my media lol.

I remember seeing this band in Leicester in about 1979/80. I enjoyed it and my main memories are the sight of big John McCoy on bass and Gillan's hair.
