I’m not certain that anyone can fully get The Lovely Eggs without seeing them live.

Always an absolute riot - lots of fun.

It was Paul The Earl of Sodbury and his good lady who brought them to my attention. They had seen them at the nearby Trades club at Hebden Bridge. They were going to book them for their wedding. We had a great night at the Golden Lion, absolute riot and met up with some friends who we hadn't seen for ages. A live band more than anything else, can't recommend them enough.

Thanks, I’d forgotten it was coming out !

Haven’t listened to it yet as I’ve been trying to edit the metadata so LMS will recognise it - maybe tomorrow......

Paul Michael Barkan - No Writing on the Signs!

You can find this on Tidal.  Very well written and diverse record, written by a shameless experimenter of a composer.  One might say it's rock with a Steely Dan influence.  Let me know if you give it a listen or two!  Those who like a little complexity and novelty in their jazz-rock won't be disappointed, I reckon.
