Bolts 1,719 Posted June 11, 2019 Yep love the RW Keith - obviously the Sigma works well on the Sony then? Are you going to try the G lenses?
unintended1 1,612 Posted June 11, 2019 Thanks guys. The Sigma 150-600mm Sport does work well Ben. In some ways better than it did on my 1DX. But I suspect there is a lot of untapped potential in the A9 and a native Sony lens would work better - especially for birds in flight. My Sigma 180mm macro lens and Laowa macro flash also both work well. The Canon 24-70 f/4 L probably works better adapted to the A9 than it does on the 1DX. The eye AF is fantastic. Eventually a Sony 24-105mm would be an ideal replacement but there's no hurry for me on that.
Bolts 1,719 Posted June 12, 2019 Pretty impressive Keith that all those adapted lenses work so well. Testament to Sony’s electronics.
