More than happy for established wammers to pop by here if they are near or in the area. the kit lit below will change as I'm looking for a phono stage, CD transport, maybe Zingalis and some mains treatments on the end of a dedicated spur.

Kit list:

TT - VPI Super Scoutmaster with Dynavector XX2

Phono - Trichord Delphini

CD - Sony DVD player

DAC - EE Minimax DAC Plus

Amp - Vaic 300B SE

Speakers - Lowthers LX4's in custom cabs

I am running in a dedicated mains spur from a separate CU. I have an ISOL-8 sub station at the end of this but will be trying some other mains foo here soon, hopefully including some Desorel filters in the near future.

Weekends are best or early evening between 5 and 7.30. Tea and coffee provided and there's a great cafe 20yds from my front door with some great walking here if you want bring your partner/dog/kids.

John.

Needs an update does this.

I'm self-unemployed and work mostly from home. When it's shit, I'm sitting around like a pork pie at Yom Kippur, so listeners are often welcome, but often not, when I'm rushed off my tits.

pm me, and we'll work something out.

Revised system:

Vinyl: Well Tempered Classic. Transfiguration Phoenix. Hashimoto SUT. Art Audio Vinyl One.

Digital: TEC VRDS25 transport. Eastern Electric DAC. Audiosector DAC. Pure iPlayer dock. Squeezebox classic.

Amps: Pure Sound L300 pre. Jadis CA30 mono blocks.

Speakers: Living Voice OBX-RW. (supertweeters and sub, depending on how I feel).

Loads of wanky wire, insane NOS tubes etc. Loads of tea/coffee/beer/spirits/biscuits/excellent local Chinese etc.

As I tend to work from home these days anyone who happens to be in the Gloucestershire Region, near Dursley is always welcome for a cuppa and a listen to just what a modest valve system can sound like with big sensitive speakers. Welcome to bring your own kit. Currently residing in the living room:

More cables than you can wave a big stick at as you'd expect from a cable maker!

Just drop a PM in advance.
