Just got home, brilliant evening, all 3 acts were superb, but the Kaiser Chiefs really finished the evening off, great entertainers!

Forgot to say due to it being a mini festival (Paul Ainsworth Travelling Feast) The acts only did an hour each, so the Kaiser Chiefs packed all their hits in which made for a great atmosphere!

wow

now I'm excited, Ricky is the consummate front man (they did an ensemble piece on the Voice once and he even blew Sir Tom off the stage)

Interestingly Ricky married his partner, who is from Huddersfield, this summer. There are some stunning places in the villages around Huddersfield and I image he can afford a nice property. :D

PS did Paul A cook you a birthday meal? ;)

No, but I have been to "Number 6" a couple of times, as it is only 3 miles away :), he also has a more affordable restaurant in Padstow called "Rojanos" which is very good.

prices look about right for 1 star restaurant, 2 stars are much more expensive because of the staffing levels required

I got to see them supporting the Tedeschi Trucks band shortly before the pandemic got started, I hadn't come across them before that but have to say they were excellent.

I am seeing them this Friday the 17th at Bath, really looking forward to it, haven’t seen him since the Aqualung tour 50 years ago!

Nearly Dan December.

Was sceptical but our drummer's seen them & they're good. And he's picky.
