Looking for a 20A mains cable , to work with my Krell.
Something better than the standard supplied kettle lead.
2 metres as it has to reach a clean wall socket.
I do have a closer 8 block filter but been told , maybe erroneously, needs it's own wall plug.

Why do you need a 20A mains cable? Assuming you're in the UK, the socket can only provide 13A.

By 20A, possibly we are referring to the connector type, as in C19. They're higher rated, though the amplifier won't take anything near 20 amps.

Yes. C19 connector, rather than the standard kettle configuration .
@Audio Al , yes , I'm certain all the living room sockets are on the same ring , so a shorter one, maybe 1.5m could work, but i'd rather go 2m.

For 20A you can use 1.5mm cable. Twin & earth is OK, and I also have a batch of UK mains colour coded armoured cable, which is a bit inflexible but has made some decent mains cables with a C19 Rhodium plug on one end. For a small consideration I can send you a 2m length or a made up cable with the IEC C19 one end and a new UK mains plug on the other ...
