How all,

I have had my linn 2250/d listed here and elsewhere for the last month at £700 with no takers.
Is the asking price fair,or are things not selling?
So whats your opinion on what price to ask will be much appreciated,as need to move it on,as have my eye on an upgrade

My MDSM/2 took almost a year to sell (this week!). Patience is a virtue, plus getting the pricing right. Yours seems a fair price.

The market has shrunk significantly as it no longer makes sense for EU residents to buy used from the UK now that we have to add around 20% VAT to the selling price including shipping charges. Before that, I bought most (probably all?) of my Linn gear from the UK.

Other than that, the price you asked appears reasonable (to me) for a dynamiked 2250.

I had a 2250/ d I sold about 8 years ago to go atkiv with a M6100. Sold it for about $1200 Cdn at the time. It was a mistake that took moving to Akurate level amps to fix. The 2250/d is a exceptional amp that , if it were feasible, would make a cost effective addition to an exakted set up. But to find 3-5 2250/d in a short time period, all dynamik'd would take a lot time. Dont see many come up. Some one should buy this amp.

Interested to hear you report on the Tundra monos. I've been pondering this route a while replacing my A2200 with Tundras.

Ok,the tundra Mons are in my second system, and playing beautifully, don't get me wrong the 2250/d which they have replaced is a superb amp,the mono's however are in a different league, more details, better soundstage both wider and deeper, and it's like a sub has been added, more slam and articulation, just over all more musical than it's predecessor.

I have had an early pair of non-dynamik early solo's,and whilst no where near as powerful, the monos hold there own at lower levels,i Can only imagine how much better the v2.5 are,.

So my advice to any of you that are pondering the step up from a 2250 or A2200,if you don't need ear splitting volumes, the Lejonklou tundra monos are a superb upgrade, even in my fairly modest system,i never thought an Arcam dv139 could sound so good as its sounding as i am writing this.
