3-day trip into the Highlands from Glasgow what route to take ?

I've got some holiday to use up, and fortunately I own a BMW M4 competition, and also have a mate who lives in Glasgow.

I would therefore like to plan a trip from Glasgow into the Highlands and then back to Cambridge, with three nights accommodation in total.

Any route recommendations?

I am going first week of December so hopefully this mild weather will hold!

Scotland road trip cancelled due to imminent snow in the Highlands. Heading to Breacon Beacons and Devon instead, forecast says temps 5c+ and dry.

Heading off at 5am from Cambridge on Monday, staying one night in Minehead then taking Devon's best roads.

Car cleaned and re-coated for the trip. Got a woolly hat for some top down fun!

My motoring roads.
Mine head to simonsbathe. Dulverton then on to Dartmoor. Chagford to motenhampstead. Plenty bumpy open B roads.

Gr Yaris heaven. M4 needs a respectful right foot on the greasy bumps.
