Although one is aware of recent announcements/watched via tellie/loved/loves them/has the £2.99 26 episodes complete Clangers double-DVD-thingie, I am not for them returning. Ditto all Wombles-things.

I am very much against this, because back then we had quite enough TV channels - 3.

Clangers were to my recollection on BBC1 early 70s (there were post-1967 2 BBC channels, and ITV) Sundays just before time I/first wife caught bus with cat back from Somerset to Bristol Uni.

In 2 years 'new' Clangers will be hidden away in 700000 TV channels/not on main BBC channel.

I confess that I am being selfish, and others have the right to enjoy them too.
